Kendo Practice Sessions
Training times
We practice regularly during academic full term and also out of term depending on the availability of venues, members and instructors.
From 2021-Dec-11 on, our training time will be:
Fridays: 19:30-21:30,Studio1
Tuesdays: 18:30-20:00,Studio2
Wednesdays: 19:30-21:30,Studio1
Changes will be circulated through emails.
Training venue
We now practice at the new University of Cambridge Sports Centre.
Kyu exam syllabus
Grades from 6-kyu to 2-kyu inclusive are awarded locally by the dojo leader. Higher grades are awarded nationally by the BKA. The kyu exam syllabus page gives details of the kyu grade requirements. Subject to availability of venues, members and instructors, there are usually four kyu exams per year, one per term and one in the long vacation.
